BIOGRAPHY
Erin Hernsberger’s photos and video work explore notions of beauty, abjection, decay, food, identity, and the body. Erin has received a BA in English literature, an MA in Philosophy, and a Masters of Art Education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Her work has been exhibited throughout the United States including the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and Woman Made Gallery in Chicago. Erin Hernsberger was born in 1981 and grew up in El Paso, TX. Currently, Erin splits her time between Minneapolis, MN where is she is pursuing a Masters of Fine Arts degree in photography at the University of Minnesota, and Austin, TX where she calls home. |
